What is $SEED?

$SEED is a reward token earned exclusively by staking your GM USDC Vault deposits via Umami Finance. Some ETH and BTC depositors might also be eligible for an airdrop.

It acts as a coupon, giving users the right to purchase $Bonsai at a fixed 10% discount through a 1:1 vesting and redemption mechanism.

It exists natively on its own chain and is non-transferable. It gives users the right to purchase $Bonsai at a fixed 10% discount through a 1:1 redemption mechanism.

How Redemption Works

To redeem $Bonsai at a discount:

• Pair 1 $SEED with 1 $Bonsai

• Begin a 1-week vesting period

• After vesting, you unlock the right to buy the same amount of $Bonsai that was paired and vested, using ETH, at a 10% discount

Redemptions are processed on a first-come, first-served basis and limited by the available supply in the Redemption Pool

Redemption Pool

The Redemption Pool is funded with a capped supply of $Bonsai tokens. For example, 5M $SEED can be redeemed against 5M $Bonsai, where 500k of that is the discount value — equal to $1M if $Bonsai is priced at $0.20.

A Quiet Loop: $Bonsai Buybacks

When you redeem $SEED and purchase $Bonsai, the ETH used goes straight back into the DAO.

That ETH is then used to buy back more $Bonsai from the open market.

This creates a continuous flywheel: Earn $SEED → Pair $SEED with $Bonsai -> Redeem → $Bonsai Buyback

A quiet loop. Reinforced with every harvest.

Emission Strategy

$SEED is emitted gradually to maintain fair user access, prevent front-running and exploitation, and support sustainable pricing

Current $SEED emissions go exclusively to GM Vault stakers. The rewards are only claimable on Berachain. Staked deposits on Umami are subject to a 2-week deboost.

SEED’s utility and supply is backed by real $Bonsai in the Redemption Pool. Emission pacing and redemption caps prevent dilution and price instability.

Incentive Campaign Duration

The $SEED redemption program is a limited-time initiative.

The initial Redemption Pool is capped at 2 million $Bonsai tokens, the full supply available for discounted redemptions.

Once the pool is emptied, the program ends.

Redemptions operate on a first-come, first-served basis, and no additional $Bonsai will be added once the pool is depleted.
